Who is the foot clinic by MK Podiatry?

Founded in October 2020 our family business, our clinic strives to provide its patients with the best possible foot care while always staying one step ahead of any foot problems.

Having graduated in 2013 with a degree in podiatric medicine, our business owner and lead podiatrist , Sarah began working in the NHS as a diabetes specialist, alongside working privately at Newport Pagnell Medical centre on Saturdays.

Our Services

Routine foot care

An extensive range of foot disorders can be treated in our routine podiatry appointments. Rather than just relieving pain temporarily, treatment aims to correct problems where possible.

Diabetic foot care

People with diabetes have a high risk for many types of foot health problems. Without early detection and treatment, diabetic foot problems can lead to infection and amputation.

Biomechanics

If you are experiencing pain in your lower limbs or feet, and no cause has been established, the first step is to perform a biomechanical assessment.
This examination helps us understand the root of your problem

Fungal / Verruca Treatments

Verrucas may go away on their own, but it can take months or even years for them to disappear. Treatment can help speed up the process and reduce the risk of spreading the virus to others

Reflexology

Reflexology is a type of therapy that uses gentle pressure on specific points along your feet. Reflexology may help you feel less stressed, more relaxed, and more energised.

Our Home Services

Home visits

As part of our Home visit appointments, we remove calluses and corns, file and cut nails. These appointments are carried out around Milton Keynes and its surrounding villages.

Care Home Visits

Our podiatrists and associates also offer care home visits for nail cutting, filing and removal of hard skin and callus for a discounted price.

FAQ

Do I need an initial consultation?

Yes, but our treatment can begin within the first appointment!

We are lucky enough to have plenty of free parking around! There are 3 bays directly outside the clinic, as well as a disabled bay to the right of us.

There are also some bigger car parks located around us.

Payment via card is preferred, however we do take cash.

Unfortunately we do not accept American Express at this time.

No, you can come to us directly!

This depends what you are coming in for! If you are coming in for your first appointment, we ask that you please bring a list of your current medication (if you are on any).

If you are booked in for a biomechanical assessment, we always advise to bring the footwear you are most active in.

Nail surgery clients will be advised to wear comfortable clothing, as well as sliders / flip flops for after their procedure.

Overall, we ask that you avoid wearing tights to your appointments, as they make it particularly difficult to get to your feet!

When you book your appointment, you are holding space in our calendar that is no longer available for other clients who may be in urgent need of treatment. If cancellation is necessary, we require at least 24 hours notice to avoid being charged the full appointment fee.

To cancel, please call us on 01908969470 and leave a message if the line is busy or you are calling outside of opening hours. Alternatively, you can send us a text to 07894494482 or email (info@mk-podiatry.co.uk). If you wish to reschedule your appointment, please let us know and we will be happy to do so.
